How it works and what you need to know.
Throwing Lessons.
* 2 hour lesson
* By appointment only.
* Up to 6 people per lesson
* $60+tax total per person.
*$10 non refundable deposit (per person).
Throwing lessons are a great way to perfect your pottery craft. Build up your confidence in throwing an awesome piece. Work your way up to workshops so that you don’t make/take home an undesirable piece.
- These are strictly throwing lessons.
-No piece will be taken home.
- The only thing you will be taking home is throwing knowledge and mud between your nails.
- Aprons will be provided.
- All clay/supplies will be provided.
MUSTS!
* No loose clothing or jewelry for safety reasons!
* Liability waiver must be read and signed before scheduling.
*Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting muddy!

Workshops.
* 3 day workshop (total 5 hours)
* Day one and two, 2 hours per day
* Last workshop day is glazing your work after the first bisque firing (30min to an hour)

* Second day of workshop must be scheduled at the beginning of the workshop.
First day “ Making your piece”
(2 hours)
- Clay, tools and supplies will be provided. (just bring yourself)
- Workshop demonstration will be given.
- After demonstration, hands on segment begins.
- You will have the remainder of the workshop to perfect or finish your piece. (multiple attempts during duration of workshop if needed)
- You will choose the “Pick of the litter” to be fired at the end of day one (additional pieces can be kept for $10 each piece)
- Cover your piece (if needed)
Second day “Prepping for firing”
(2 Hours)-optional
- Demonstration on trimming your pieces will be given.
- During this time any personalizing or designs can be done.
- NOTE: We recommend coming back for day 2 within 7 days of days to "trim" so your pieces do not dry out.
Third day "Glazing"
(30 minus to an hour)
- You will be given a demonstration on how to glaze your bisque ware.
- At the end of the glazing lesson you will be able to pick out your preference of glazes.
- After your work is glazed/fired and ready for pickup or shipping, we will contact you when your piece is ready. (shipping costs will apply).

KIDS
WORKSHOPS!
We now offer kids workshops!
Kids workshops will be on hand building coil pots and pinch pots.
$40
for the workshop per child, there will be a demonstration on the two techniques and your child will pick one of the two to make. Each child will make a piece, pick out one color of glaze and will get to keep a pot that they have made from start to finish! After the pots have been fired you will receive notice when they are ready for pick up. If you are not local or just visiting the area we can ship the pot to you for a additional shipping fee. Its a fun way for the kiddos to learn about ceramics and the process of making pottery! One hour workshop/2 ponds of clay limit.
